I’ve pulled out all the stops and really opened my Pandora’s box of tips, tricks, and cake HACKS for you in my new class Industry Secrets for the Savvy Decorator over on Craftsy!
Here’s a little ditty about the class for you…
Beginner’s Business Basics
Some of the most daunting tasks when first starting out are the basics of getting prepared and organized. The cake seems like the easy part! But with a few organizational tools and a walk through my virtual kitchen, you’ll begin to see how easy it can be.
We’ll also be talking social media and your online presence. Learn what avenues will suit you and your business best and how to begin making them work to MAKE YOU MONEY and get you the attention you deserve!
I have lots of money saving tips to make taking the plunge into caking less of a drain on your bank account. We all need that, right? (Just don’t tell my hubby that I actually know how to do this… 😉 Our secret!)
Simple Wafer Techniques, Extraordinary Results
You know me and my wafer paper. I love a great, fun, UNIQUE texture on my cakes and gumpaste and fondant are just so stinkin’ heavy!
My signature wafer wrap technique is the perfect answer! Did you know you can do these well ahead of time so you aren’t under nearly as much pressure when you get down to the wire with your cake order? Anything to simplify and ease the stress of our caking ways is a great addition to your knowledge bank.
One Custom Cake Stand Structure, Hundreds of Possibilities!
With this simple stand structure, you can wow people and take your decorating to the next level. It’s so much easier than you may think, and so versatile you’ll have a hard time deciding which new idea to create first.
OH! And did I mention you can get everything for this in your local craft store??? No hardware stores in this class 😉 (Odd for me, I know.)
Tips, Tricks, and Cake Hacks Galore
We’re going to talk alternative finishes for your cake board that are WAY funner than fondant, and much more professional than foil. And they are easy and impressive and on the cheap!
Small details matter, and I’ll help you start to identify how to make your details graduate to pro status.
Deliver Those Cakes FULLY Assembled
It seems intimidating, delivering your cake fully assembled. But I assure you that if you follow my structure and delivery methods, you’ll never assemble on site again!
I’d much rather complete my cake fully in the controlled area of my own kitchen with any and everything I may need to trouble shoot at arms reach. I’ve never assembled on site except maybe the occasional isomalt or porcelain topper. But really, that’s just resting them up there. No biggie.
Guys, there is soooooo much more jam packed into this class I couldn’t possibly list it all here. Truly, I unloaded! LOL
I know you want to get inside my crazy head and learn all the little things that have taken my decorating to the next level, so here’s your 50% off discount 🙂
